Orpington FC Boys Mini Soccer Pre-Season Tournament Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility:

• The tournament is open to teams categorised under Selkent B/Tandridge Shield and Selkent C/D/Tandridge equivalent levels.
• No JPL or Academy teams or players are allowed to participate.

2. Entry:

• The entry fee of £55 per team must be paid in full to secure entry.

3. Tournament Format:

• Six teams per group.
• Every team is guaranteed at least five matches, unless there are no shows on the day.
• In the event of a no show, match lengths will be increased to ensure equivalent playing time for all teams.
• We reserve the right to change the tournament format based on the number of teams entered.
• U7 and U8 teams will compete in 5-a-side matches.
• U9 and U10 teams will compete in 7-a-side matches.

4. Age Groups and Tournament Times:

• U7 and U9: AM Registration TBC (approx. 8:30 AM)
• U8 and U10: PM Registration TBC (approx. 1:00 PM)
• Age groups are based on the 2025/2026 season.

5. Team Level Verification:

• The current team level will be checked when tickets are purchased.
• If a team is found to have entered the wrong tournament based on their level, they will be transferred to the appropriate tournament category or their ticket refunded.
• Teams must provide accurate information regarding their level to ensure fair competition.

6. Conduct:

• All participants are expected to adhere to the principles of fair play and sportsmanship.
• Any form of misconduct or unsporting behavior will result in disciplinary action, including potential disqualification.

7. Liability:

• Orpington FC is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur during the tournament.
• Teams and participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage.

8. Cancellation and Refunds:

• In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, Orpington FC will provide a full refund of the entry fee.
• No refunds will be issued for teams withdrawing or for no shows.
